Children are a special blessing from God! We offer many opportunities for children to learn about God. Our desire for them is that they learn about Jesus, come to know Him, and learn to walk with Christ in faith.
The Children's Ministries at FBC are designed to be fun and spiritually enlightening. Here are several ways your children may be engaged at First Baptist.SUNDAY SCHOOL meets on Sunday at 9:00 am. Children enjoy spending time with their own age group. Each classroom has dedicated teachers who prepare and present a Bible lesson each week. The children enjoy games, music, and crafts that provide parallel teaching for the lesson. NURSERY is provided during Sunday School and worship for babies and children up to age 3. Nursery is a caring place for singing, playing, and learning about God. Nursery workers nurture and care for babies so moms and dads can engage in on-sight study and worship.A "CRY ROOM" is located in the rear of the worship center for moms who prefer to care for their babies during worship times.A CHILDREN'S SERMON is one element of each Sunday morning worship service. This brief message uses object lessons to speak to the natural spiritual curiosity of preschoolers through grade 6. CHILDREN'S CHURCH is another ministry of FPR. Children leave big church after the Children's Message to attend Children's Church. Two age levels of Children's Church are conducted so that teaching can be specific to younger and older children. Children are also invited to CHILDREN'S CHOIR and MISSIONS through M&M KIDS! Sunday at 6:00pm. Make a joyful noise! Vacation Bible School is also conducted each summer! VBS dates for 2017 are June 5-9. You may register on-line now!
